Welcome to James Yao’s Website!
Hello everyone, and welcome to my personal little corner of the web! You might not have heard of me before—and that’s okay—because I’m still a college student exploring the world of computer science. My name is 姚行健, and you can also call me James. I was born in 2007, and I’m from Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China. On this website, you’ll get to know me and the projects I’m working on. I also plan to share updates on my projects here—though that might be a few years down the road.
So, here’s a little about me—nice to meet you!
I just graduated from high school in 2025, and I know there’s so much more to learn in college. I’m a freshman in Computer Science, and I’ll always stay humble and eager to learn new things. I’d be really happy if you emailed me—I’ll reply as soon as I can. You can also check out my github to see my projects. So far, most of my repos are just class notes, but I believe that over time, I’ll launch more and more interesting projects.
I have a wide range of hobbies, including playing badminton, tennis, and swimming. I also enjoy learning about the social sciences. I love reading philosophical works, and my favorite thinker is Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche. I speak Chinese and English, and I’m currently studying French and Arabic. I really hope to make friends from all over the world, and I truly believe that computer science can serve as a bridge to bring people together.
I’m also a big fan of aviation. In my spare time, I often go near airports to take photos of those giant iron birds. It used to be my dream to become a pilot. I’ve always loved the feeling of flying freely, without limitations—though, of course, pilots have to follow strict rules. I was pretty naive back then!
I’ll keep working on making this page more beautiful over time. For now, here’s a photo as a small greeting. Thanks so much for visiting!
